Meet Our Staff

CHERYL KENNEY
President of Sound Advice Hearing Centers, Inc.
and Hearing Instrument Specialist

Cheryl Kenney has been a Hearing Instrument Specialist for over a decade in New Hampshire. She initially became interested in hearing and hearing aids when a family friend faced decisions about hearing loss and appropriate hearing healthcare. Cheryl went on to establish Sound Advice Hearing Centers, Inc. in 1995.

Ms. Kenney's years as both a Health and Special Education teacher coupled with eight years of military service as an Army Reserve Medic prepared her for the professional hearing healthcare she now provides her patients. Veterans at the White River Junction VA Hospital were early recipients of her hearing testing services.

Cheryl was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from Moorhead State University (MN) and has continued her education with coursework at University of New Hampshire as well as hearing instrument manufacturers' seminars. The International Hearing Society, which awarded Ms. Kenney board certification as a Hearing Instrument Specialist, is another resource for various on-going training opportunities.

LINDA McDERMOTT
Hearing Instrument Specialist

Linda McDermott has provided hearing testing, hearing instrument dispensing, and follow-up services for Sound Advice Hearing Centers, Inc. since 2005. Her base of operations is the newly-renovated and recently reopened New London location at Scytheville Row, and she routinely provides services to Hanover residents living at Kendal Community.

Ms. McDermott's background includes training as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her experience as a resident assistant at an assisted living facility sparked her interest in working with older patients, especially those with memory impairments. Following her specialized training, she returned to the same facility to provide nursing care for the residents.

For over 15 years, Linda has shown special understanding of the needs of her patients, and has brought this heightened level of caring and service to the Sound Advice Hearing Centers, Inc. family.

MARY LOUISE BROZENA
Clinical Audiologist

Mary Louise Brozena has been an audiologist in Seacoast and southern New Hampshire for over sixteen years. She is the newest provider to join Sound Advice Hearing Centers, Inc. and primarily serves the Dover office. Appointments may be scheduled with her in Plymouth, as well.

Prior to becoming an audiologist in the early 1990's, Dr. Brozena was a teacher for deaf and heard of hearing children, and maintains an interest in pediatric diagnostics and hearing aid dispensing along with her work with adults. Her background includes extensive training and hands-on experience from various manufacturers in the hearing instrument industry. She has degrees in both mathematics education and deaf education, and received her Masters degree in Audiology from Southern Connecticut State University and her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences.

We're looking forward to hearing from you!   800 294-2944
